“Thank you very much for all the beautiful photos – you are truly very talented! It was lovely to be able to reminisce about the day” Heilin & James x

A wedding ceremony at Arundel Cathedral followed by a reception at the stunning, historic Amberley Castle…how on earth do you try and describe all of that? Well, here’s a few highlights that will hopefully go someway to giving you some idea of the absolutely beautiful wedding day that Heilin & James had.

Heilin and James’ day started off at Amberley Castle and the Norfolk Arms in Arundel for their respective bride and groom preparations. Steve, my 2nd photographer accompanied the Groomsmen whilst I photographed the bridal preps. It was all very calm and peaceful at the Castle as Heilin was tended to and got into her wedding dress before heading off to Arundel Cathedral to be married to James. This was in real contrast to the lively garden party and evening reception that was to take place later in the day with them and their 120+ guests rightly celebrating such a wonderful occasion.

It’s hard to pick out my personal favourite memories of the day but they have to include the absolutely stunning views across the West Sussex countryside from high up on the castle turrets, Heilin’s lovely, gracious nature throughout, the sheer scale of Arundel Cathedral where they were married, ‘Bob’ the resident Peacock at the castle as he accompanied us on their couples shoot in the evening, the relaxed atmosphere as the string quartet played during the garden party in the afternoon. Basically everything – right through to the party that kicked off on the dance floor as the sun finally went down behind the South Downs.AJ_signature for blog
